When the doctors told him they have nothing to offer for curing him, Tamir Lahav-Radlemesser chose to fight his strange and mysterious illness with the only tools left for him: studying the text of Susan Sontag's Illness as Metaphor, and creating his own texts and images based on this reading.
Tamir Lahav-Radlmesser is a poet, photographer and designer. He is a graduate of the Bezlael Art Acadeny in Jerusalem, and lives in Tel-Aviv. His photographs were shown in museums and galleries in Israel and abroad. He won the Prime Minister's award for Hebrew Writers in 2005.
