Vardi Kahana was born in Tel-Aviv in 1959. She graduated from the Art College in Ramat-Hasharon. In the early 80's she was a photographer for the Monitin Magazine. In 1983 she joined the daily newspaper Hadashot, where she worked until it closed down in 1993. She worked for the Ha'aretz weekly supplement and since 1994 she is a photographer for the Yedioth Ahronoth weekly supplement. Vardi Kahana's works were shown in exhibitions in Museums and galleries in Israel and abroad.
